Lot 387. Astounding collection of 277 1940-1954 Mutoscope and exhibit artist pin-up cards including 4 complete sets. There are 9 different issues in this group, the first seven are Mutoscope Company of America and the last two are Exhibit Company issues. The Mutoscopes are as follows: 1940 Glamour Girls complete set of 32, 1941 All-American Girls near set of 25 (of 32), 1942 Yankee Doodle Girls partial set of 18 (of 32), 1943 Hotcha Girls complete set of 65 including the rare “My Driver’s License”, 1944 Follies Girls complete set of 32, 1945 Artist Pin Up Girls complete set of 64, 1946 very rare Meyer Levin pin up Girls partial set of 11 (of 32); The two Exhibit Company issues, both of which are very scarce are 1952-54 Calendar Girls II partial set of (18) and the 1952-54 Slick Chick Twins partial set of 12 (of 32). The last issue is a divided card with two pictures on each and has a pencil notation of price on the rear. The condition is spectacular with almost all cards being ex-mt to near mint with just a few exceptions.
