Lot 253. 6 1919-1924 California-Stanford “Big Game” programs. The Stanford-California football “Big Game” resumed in 1919. Offered here are the first 6 programs for these games which were all won by California except for the 1924, which was tied. The 1919 program is 32 pages, standard size and is vg-ex; The 1920, in the shape of a football, is 48 pages and in excellent condition. The 1921 program which features Stanford Stadium on the cover is 32 pages and is in near mint condition. The 1922 program is 28 pages and has a promotion picturing Glenn “Pop” Warner on the back page. The program is in ex-mt condition; The 1923 24 page program has tape on the spine and is otherwise excellent. Finally, the 1924 program has 44 pages, is in very good condition with a loose page. Collegiate Hall of Famers that can be found in these pages are Stan Barnes, Dan McMillan, Andy Kerr, “Babe” Horrell, “Brick” Muller and Ernie Nevers. Minimum Bid $1,500.
