Lot 53. 1930 Fleer “Whiz-Bang” Gum Lefty Grove. From the recent find of a box of these previously unknown cards. The box consisted of 83 cards from what was an apparent set of 16. Included were 3 different baseball cards Grove, Goslin and Hartnett. Offered here is one of the five Groves known to exist. The card is ex-mt condition. The card has two tiny factory punched slits, which it is suspected, would propel the card through the air. Obviously very rare. Winning Bid $1,331.      Back to List
